A one-footed egret is a permanent resident of Bahia Bay. She goes from dock to dock, begging tidbits from everyone. This well-fed bird has many names: Pete, Tatoo, and Opal. Regardless of what she is called, she is a source of enjoyment for all of Bahia Bay.
